REMOTE LOAN PROCESSOR

Position: LPR0012018


The Original Mortgage Doctor™ (TOMD™) is revolutionizing the mortgage operation process. We are currently seeking both novice processors with no experience and experienced loan processors with 3+ years in the industry and working knowledge of Conventional FHA/VA USDA and bond loan products. Flexible positions are available and include opportunities for full-time, part-time, temporary, and/or seasonal processors.

 

Mortgage Operational Provider™ (MOP™) certified training is required for all Remote Loan Processors regardless of prior experience. Certified Processors will analyze conditions for conventional and government loan programs to ensure compliance with investor specifications for AUS, as well as lender/agency guidelines are met. Processors will also review and verify accuracy of all documentation to ensure guidelines are met.

Position Overview (Remote) 

  • The Loan processing duties include performing all processing and pre-closing tasks required to manufacture a loan in compliance of state and federal regulations. 
 
  • Processors will ensure the accuracy of data input to company specific systems, ensuring from the start of the manufacturing process that all events necessary for the loan closing are properly coordinated and communicated.
 
  • Processors will maintain a focus on the preparation of the loan for closing from the inception of the loan process; ensuring information is entered in a timely manner so that the loan status information is continually up to date.
 
  • Processors will be tracking all events during the manufacturing process and communicating any events that could hinder the projected closing date to the account manager, borrowers and real estate agents. 
 
  • The Loan processors are also responsible for fielding origination inquiries, reviewing loan applications submitted from the Internet, pre-qualifying the applications and submitting them through the applicable automated underwriting systems. 
 
 
 

        Detailed Responsibilities 
 

  • Evaluates loan documentation (i.e. terms and structure of loans, interest rate, and payment obligations) on each specific loan application. 
 
  • Assesses adequacy of loan policies. Determines if loans are made within policy and in compliance with loan type guidelines. 
 
  • Prepares a list of loan guideline exceptions (documentation deficiencies) for further review. 
 
  • Communicates with processing lead regarding work performed on an examination to ensure that all aspects of the file review are completed. 
 
  • Reviews unusual or complex loan files. 
  • Detect and report potential fraud transactions, checks, and suspicious account activity to management for further investigation.
  • Reviews compliance with legal lending limits and also identifies concentrations of credit. 
 
  • Analyzes financial information, files documentation via LOS, and prepares questions for underwriter regarding the credit reviewed.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be working in a fast-paced environment. Our model candidate must be, highly motivated self-starter, tech savvy, and willing to learn. You will be our corporate concierge; briefing on upcoming day, completing correspondences, managing calendar, creating and managing to-do list, taking over some daily tasks, coordinating and setting timelines on tasks, interacting with clients and colleagues, setting up meetings, researching products and services, coordinating travel and events, and handling various administrative duties, including but not limited to;

• Be the main point of contact representing the company in the community

• Manage the payment and coordination of event sponsorships and exhibiting fees for developer community events

• Coordinate logistics for sponsored events with our event management partners, including furniture, marketing materials, audio video, swag, and catering.

• Enable travel and accommodations for traveling employees for developer events

• Work within established budgetary constraints and manage prioritization of sponsorships.

• Maintain SLA's for all inbound inquiries requesting TOMD support at developer community events

• Be the main point of contact for all partners events hosted at TOMD offices globally

TOMD is revolutionizing the mortgage operation process with our innovative new approach, providing cost effective services to our lending communities and career training and career opportunities to individuals. This position will be promoting our MOP™ services to mortgage lenders/Banks/Credit Union, etc. This position will also be promoting our MOP™ training courses for our nationwide Remote Loan Processor positions.
